Payees Earning History

The Payee Earnings History page provides a consolidated view of a contributor’s royalty earnings based on earnings for tracks assigned to splits where they have a share. 

The Payee Earnings History page only shows earnings from tracks that were part of a split where the payee was a shareholder at the time royalties were calculated. If a track wasn’t included in a split during the calculation period, its earnings won’t appear in the history.

How to Access Payee Earnings History

1. Go to SplitShare ► Payees
2. Search for a payee and click View
3. On the payee’s page, select View Earnings History

Earnings Table Overview

The table includes:

• Royalty Period: The specific time frame for earnings.
• SplitShare Status: Payee’s enrollment status during that period.
• Artist Earnings: Earnings based on the track earnings and the payee’s percentage on the applicable Split .
• Recouped Earnings: Amounts recouped during the period (if applicable).
• Transferred via SplitShare: The earnings sent to a contributor's Symphonic account through SplitShare.
• Enrolled in SplitShare: If the contributor is enrolled for that royalty period, this amount equals their share of earnings minus any recouped amounts.
• Not Enrolled: If the contributor isn’t enrolled, this column will show zero, as earnings aren't automatically distributed through SplitShare.
• Why it matters: Enrolling in SplitShare ensures automatic transfers, while non-enrollment requires manual payouts or alternative arrangements.

Use date filters to view different periods.

Downloading Earnings History

Click Download for two options:

• By Royalty Period: Summary view.
• By Track: Detailed view by DSP and track.
