This article explains Symphonic’s move from traditional password-based login to One-Time Password (OTP) authentication and what to expect during the transition.
What is OTP login?
OTP (One-Time Password) replaces a static password with a short code that's valid for a single login attempt and expires after a few minutes. It's delivered via email, so there's no password to remember, type, or have stolen from a data breach. We still recommend setting up a Passkey, as no verification code is required.
Why is Symphonic switching to this login method?
- Reduced credential theft risk — no reusable password to phish, guess, or leak.
- Simpler to use — nothing to remember or reset.
- Better fit for shared or infrequent-use accounts — no stale passwords sitting unused.
How to log in with OTP
Go to the login page and enter the email address associated with your Symphonic account, and then click on Send Code.
A code will be sent to your email. Retrieve the code and enter it on our website and Submit Code.

What if I don't receive the code?
Check your spam, junk, or promotions folders in your email. If you didn’t receive it, click Resend Code option after 30–60 seconds.
Can I still use a password as a backup?
Yes. To do this, input your email and click Verify Code. You will see the option to Sign in with password.
Is OTP more secure than a password?
Yes, against phishing and reused-password attacks, since each code is single-use and short-lived.
What happens if I lose access to my email?
If you lose access to your email address, please contact our team with your account name, account ID, and the email address that is associated with your account.
