AI Disclosure

To maintain transparency and uphold ethical standards, we require clients who are experimenting with or utilizing AI to disclose relevant details about their projects prior to distribution and during the SymphonicMS upload process. Whether a release is fully AI-generated or AI-assisted, clients must provide insight into the tools, models, and companies used in the creative process. This disclosure helps ensure that both our clients and Symphonic approach AI responsibly and in good faith. This will be a seamless and efficient part of your upload process and will ensure that together, we can responsibly approach AI usage while also being best positioned to meet requirements and regulations.

You will be asked during the asset upload process to indicate if generative AI was used for audio and artwork on all new tracks. If you wish to edit any of your releases, you'll be asked to supply this AI information before you re-submit.

Following is an example of the question you will be asked regarding AI usage in audio files:

Symphonic remains committed to not distributing content that unfairly or illegally impersonates an individual's likeness or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. This standard applies to both AI-generated content and non-AI-generated content.

As the AI music landscape continues to evolve, so too will our policies, but our core commitment to ethical and responsible music distribution will remain unchanged. Our AI policies are subject to consistent review.
