Unfortunately, this may happen from time to time and is not a reflection of Symphonic delivering your release improperly. Occasionally, artists share similar or the same names, and DSPs may sometimes automatically place content under the wrong profile. This article lists many major DSPs and how to correct your artist page. If you do not see a DSP listed, it is possible that we cannot assist with artist mapping issues.

How to correct artist mapping on YouTube
If you don't have an artist page listed on either Wikipedia or MusicBrainz, your content will be moved to a separate page under "Various Artists- Topic." On YouTube Music, this will display as a Various Artists profile.
Art tracks may temporarily be mapped to a Various Artists topic channel. Upon release, they will automatically be moved to the relevant artist topic channel within 30 days.
If your releases are currently located on a Various Artists Topic and it's been longer than 30 days, you may contact us to correct the artist mapping.
When requesting an artist separation on YouTube, it's essential to provide us with detailed information. Be sure to include the following in your request form to us:
UPCs for all the releases that are incorrectly mapped
YouTube URL of the incorrect Topic page
Correct artist page URL(s) if none exist, indicate "Please move to a new Topic page"
For more information regarding art tracks, click here.
Before upgrading to an Official Artist Channel (OAC), you must first resolve any artist separation issues on your Topic channel(s). This may include:
Removing content that doesn't belong to you
Combining multiple Topics into one
Moving your music from an incorrect Topic (e.g., another artist's page or Various Artists)
Creating a new Topic if one does not exist
Correcting how your artist name appears on the Topic
If these issues remain unresolved, your OAC upgrade request will likely be unsuccessful.

FAQs:
What if my artist name on the DSP differs from what is in the SymphonicMS?
To properly tell the partner that a release belongs to a specific artist page, we must ensure the names align. If the names differ in any way, you may need to create a new artist under the SymphonicMS to match the artist name with the DSP.
What of the DSP isn't listed above? How do I correct the artist mapping?
If you do not see a DSP listed, we may be unable to assist with artist mapping issues. Please note that Symphonic cannot check each partner. Please ensure that you've researched each DSP before reaching out.
