Should I Embed ISRC Codes Into Audio Files?

You won't need to embed ISRC codes directly into your .wav (or other format) audio files for us to distribute and they are not needed for mastering or any process prior to distribution.

If you do, it won't cause any harm however, partners aren't necessarily using this data per file. During the process of sending to the partners we distribute to, the ISRC codes will be attached in the metadata / XML files and any embedded info will be stripped as the partners do not accept ISRC codes this way.

If you're interested in using your own ISRC codes (instead of the free codes Symphonic will generate for you during submission of a release), that's easy to do.
