After you submit your release, our content team will review it for approval. The review process is done in the order of submission. If any additional edits are required for your release, you will receive an email from us specifying the changes or information needed. Once your release is approved, you will be notified via email, and it will be distributed to all our partners within 1-5 days. Our content team diligently goes through each submission to ensure that it meets our guidelines and standards. They check for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with our distribution policies. During the review period, you can track the status of your release on your account.
Please keep in mind that Symphonic guidelines are subject to change. With these changes, some content that was previously approved may no longer meet current standards.
When to Submit Your Release
We recommend sending releases 4-6 weeks in advance to account for any possible delays. This timeframe allows for proper vetting and marketing efforts to increase visibility and potential features on DSPs. It's important to follow the release creation upload guide when creating your releases to ensure that all your release metadata is correctly entered prior to submission.
If you miss the suggested lead time, your release may still go live before the intended date, but this is not guaranteed. It can take up to 10 days for the release to be live on all partner sites after you receive the approval email from us. If there are delays beyond this period, you can contact us for assistance.
Practices to Avoid
Ensure your content complies with legal standards and does not include prohibited material such as hate speech, pornography, unlicensed samples, or copyrighted or trademarked material.
