Beatport is an electronic-oriented online music store that requires advance approvals to deliver content. Since they cater to specific genres, you'll need to seek approval prior to distribution on their platform. Beatport accepts niche content; if your material does not fit the genres they carry, it cannot be sent to their platform. 

Beatport for Starter is a monthly subscription that allows you to deliver and host your content on Beatport. You will be charged $10/month, unless you choose to cancel your membership for this service. If you cancel your membership or your payment method fails, all previously delivered content to Beatport will be removed, and new content will no longer be available for delivery to this partner. 

Please note that this submission applies only to deliveries to Beatport. At this time, Starter accounts are not eligible for delivery to Traxsource.

Why can't I select Beatport on my release?

Beatport is a genre-specific DSP. All tracks on your release must be an accepted genre to qualify for delivery to Beatport. If the partner is unavailable, it is because there are track(s) that do not meet Beatport's genre requirements. 

Will my releases show under my label name? 

No, the label name will appear as Symphonic Starter. This is similar to how other distributors use their own label brand for DIY clients.

How do I deliver my older releases to Beatport? 

Under the release availability section, you can edit your releases and add any new partners you have available. Once the release is re-approved, your content will be delivered to Beatport. 

My release edits are not reflecting on Beatport

At this time, release edits will not be reflected on Beatport as they are not ingested. If you need to edit your release on this DSP, please consider issuing a takedown for your release and creating a new one with the appropriate information. More information on release edits here. 

Can I get a refund?

Refunds will not be available if content has already been delivered to Beatport.

What will happen if I cancel my membership?

If you choose to cancel your membership, your content will no longer be eligible for delivery to Beatport. Additionally, any content previously delivered to this DSP will be taken down. Content will remain live at other DSPs selected on the release. 

What happens if my payment method is declined or fails?

If your payment method fails or is declined, your Beatport for Starter subscription will be automatically canceled. Your content will no longer be eligible for delivery to Beatport. Additionally, any content previously delivered to this DSP will be taken down. Content will remain live at other DSPs selected on the release. 

Will my Beatport subscription be canceled if I cancel my Starter account?

No, your Starter account subscription and Beatport for Starter subscriptions are two separate subscriptions. If you cancel your starter subscription or close your Starter account, you will still need to cancel your Beatport for Starter subscription as well.
