Understanding Your Starter Account Subscription

As a Starter account holder, it's important to understand how your subscription works and how to manage it effectively.

Annual Subscription Renewal

Your Starter subscription is billed annually. Each year, on the anniversary of your subscription start date, your card on file will be automatically charged for the renewal. It's crucial to ensure that your payment information is always up-to-date to avoid any interruptions in your service.

Updating Payment Information

To update your subscription payment information, log in to the SymphonicMS and navigate to your Account Badge ► Manage Subscription. Here, you can add, remove, or update your credit card details as needed. Symphonic cannot extend your subscription if we are unable to process the renewal charge due to an outdated or invalid card.

Canceling Your Subscription

If you wish to cancel your Starter subscription, you can do so at any time during your one-year term. Log in to the SymphonicMS and navigate to your Account Badge ► Manage Subscription. Please note that if you cancel your subscription mid-year, you will still have full account access until you reach the end of the one-year term that you paid for. You will not be billed for the next renewal cycle if you cancel your subscription.

What Happens After Your Subscription Ends?

When your Starter subscription reaches its expiration date and is not renewed, your account will be deactivated. This means that:

  • Your content will be taken down from DSPs, and you will no longer be able to upload new content.
  • Your account will remain in a dormant state where you can still collect royalties from any content that continues to generate revenue through DSPs.

Reactivating Your Subscription

Should you decide to reactivate your subscription after it has been canceled or deactivated, please ensure that your payment method is up-to-date, and then reach out to us for assistance. We can help you re-activate your subscription, re-deliver your releases, and provide full access to your account.
