Our Core Principles

• Rights & Ownership: Uploaders must have the rights or appropriate permissions for the content they distribute.

Generative AI Content (Including Suno and Similar Platforms)

We recognize that the generative AI landscape is evolving rapidly, and that platforms like Suno are already widely used by creators.

Symphonic supports uploads created with generative AI tools, including Suno, provided that:

• The content complies with our policies and applicable platform guidelines
• There is no impersonation, fraud, or misleading representation
• The uploader has a reasonable basis to believe they have the right to distribute the content
• Proper disclosures are made where required

We also acknowledge that there is ongoing industry and legal debate as to how certain AI systems are trained and used. As that landscape develops, we will continue to adapt our policies accordingly.

Our approach is to support responsible use of these tools—without prematurely restricting creators in a rapidly changing environment.

What We Do Not Allow

• Content that clearly or directly infringes on existing copyrighted works
• Content that intentionally mimics or impersonates real artists, brands, or individuals without authorization
• Spam, mass-generated low-quality uploads, or attempts to manipulate DSPs
• Misleading metadata or failure to disclose AI use where applicable

Symphonic is actively building infrastructure to support a legitimate and sustainable AI ecosystem:

• AI Dataset Licensing Addendum
  We have introduced a framework for legitimate AI training and licensing deals, enabling rights holders to participate in and benefit from AI innovation.
