YouTube Content ID is YouTube’s automated rights management system designed to help copyright owners identify, manage, and monetize their content on the platform. Using advanced digital fingerprinting technology, Content ID compares uploaded videos against a database of audio and visual reference files provided by rights holders. When a match is found, a claim is automatically created on the video.
Through Symphonic, clients can easily enroll in YouTube Content ID. You can apply to be a part of our YouTube Content ID service as long as you're using Symphonic for Digital Distribution and have YouTube as a delivery partner on your account.
