What is SoundExchange?

SoundExchange is the exclusive organization collecting and distributing statutory digital performance royalties for sound recordings performed in the United States on non-interactive music streaming services and satellite radio (ie, iHeartRadio digital and SiriusXM). They also offer optional International neighboring rights collections in all major territories worldwide.

Who can Symphonic represent on SoundExchange?

Symphonic can collect SoundExchange royalties on behalf of sound recording owners and rightsholders. 

What territories are covered?

 Symphonic offers U.S. and International royalty collection through SoundExchange.

How can I get started?

Can Symphonic collect the artist/featured artist portion of SoundExchange?

No. Only the artists/players themselves can handle the artist collection. SoundExchange doesn’t allow any third parties (labels, distros, aggregators) to claim any portion of that revenue.
