iDenfy - Identity Verification

Protecting our clients’ data, content, and royalties is a top priority for Symphonic. We’ve now partnered with iDenfy to do just that. iDenfy is a third-party identity verification service Symphonic uses to protect our clients’ accounts and prevent unauthorized access. Upon first-time login, users are required to upload photos of their ID and take a selfie using their phone or computer camera. iDenfy then uses a combination of automated and human verification to verify the user’s photo matches their ID and that the ID is valid and authentic.

If identity verification is authenticated for the owner of the account, the owner and all additional users on the account will be allowed access. If an owner on the account has not been verified, no other users on the account will have access until an owner completes verification.

Only users with the Owner role on an account can complete verification for that account. Even if a user is an Owner on another Symphonic account, they cannot complete verification unless they are an Owner on the account they are trying to access.

After identification is validated (this can take up to 5 minutes) you can submit releases in your Symphonic account. If your identity cannot be verified, please ensure you follow Idenfy’s tips for a successful submission.

After submitting your selfie, you’ll be redirected back to the SymphonicMS home page. If you don’t hear from us, that means you passed verification. If we run into trouble verifying your identity, we’ll let you know.
