How to Complete Your Release Setup in EVEN

EVEN is a pre-release platform that allows artists to give fans early or exclusive access to their music before it becomes available on other streaming platforms. After you opt in to EVEN through Symphonic and deliver your release, you must log in to your EVEN account to complete and publish the release.

Before You Begin

Before completing your release in EVEN, make sure the following steps have been completed in this order:

  1. Opt in to EVEN with Symphonic
  2. Go to EVEN and create your account & claim your artist page in EVEN
  3. Deliver your release to EVEN through Symphonic
  4. Once the release has been delivered, log in to EVEN and complete the remaining required setup steps.

Important: Since EVEN is a pre-release platform, your release should include an exclusive date. This date should be before the release becomes available on other platforms.

Step 1: Locate Your Delivered Release in EVEN

After your release has been delivered to EVEN, log in to your EVEN account and locate the release in your artist dashboard. Select the release you want to complete.

Editing Release Schedule:

From the menu, select Edit Release Schedule to set the dates for your EVEN release. From here, you can add a pre-order date and adjust the release schedule date.

Helpful note: Because EVEN is intended for early or exclusive access, these dates should be before the release becomes available on other DSPs, unless you do not intend to offer early access.

Editing Pricing Settings

From the menu, select Edit Pricing Settings to confirm the price fans will pay to access the release.

You may see fields such as:

  • Base Price: The starting price fans will pay to access the release.
  • Minimum Price: The lowest amount a fan can pay, if EVEN allows flexible pricing.
  • Pricing Tiers: Additional price points that can include different content or support levels.

Helpful note: Pricing is typically set for the release or offer, not for each individual track. Review pricing carefully before publishing.

Step 3: Review Revenue Splits

To edit revenue splits, drop down the section for Revenue Splits.

If collaborators need to receive a percentage of earnings from the release, review the Revenue Split section.

Helpful note: Make sure percentages are accurate before publishing. If a collaborator has not completed their payment setup, EVEN may show a warning.

Step 4: Preview Your Release

Review the content attached to your EVEN release and confirm that all required assets are present.

  • Audio Files: Confirm that all delivered tracks are listed and available.
  • Cover Art: Confirm that the artwork matches the official release artwork.
  • Additional Content: Add any bonus content you want fans to receive, if available.

Examples of additional content may include bonus tracks, behind-the-scenes videos, voice notes or messages to fans, lyric sheets, digital booklets, or exclusive artwork.

Helpful note: EVEN works best when fans are receiving something special, early, or exclusive. Adding bonus content can help make the offer more valuable.
