If your tracks contain vocals, we strongly encourage you to submit lyrics during the creation of your release. You can submit lyrics to Apple Music via the SymphonicMS. This is available at the track level when you are entering your track details. Select your Audio Style of either Instrumental or Vocal.
If you've selected Vocal, you may enter the lyrics within the lyrics box.
You can use the "Transcribe Lyrics with AI" button to use AI for lyric generation if you don't have them on hand. You're expected to review and touch up the generated lyrics to make sure they are correct and properly formatted. This is currently a beta feature so be mindful of the results.
It is important to follow the lyrics submission guidelines when providing your lyrics manually or generated via AI.
Other partners may also receive these lyrics; however, Apple Music is the main partner that ingests the lyrics entered in this section. Currently, Symphonic sends static lyrics to Apple. If you're interested in synching (sync lyrics) your lyrics, please check out Musixmatch.
