Publishing Admin Changes (Songtrust)

As a company we're always seeking to improve as much as possible and because of that, we've decided to make a partnership change in regard to our Publishing Administration service.

We have now signed a new deal with Songtrust and are starting the process to integrate them into our technology and SymphonicMS system.

Will this be better?
This new partnership will ensure that your works are registered much faster and, that you have a dedicated dashboard as well as to be able to receive royalties directly from them. In addition, you will be able to have your works registered in more countries (from 75 to 100+) and receive quicker ingestion of new works. Songtrust maintains the most extensive, accessible publishing network in the industry, with direct relationships with 50+ performance, mechanical, and digital societies globally covering 120+ territories. Songtrust was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in New York City.

I am an existing client, what do I do?
If you are an existing client, you should had received an email similar to this post with instructions on how to proceed to transition your account. If you did not, please create a ticket.

We will require you to sign up to Songtrust HOWEVER, you will not have to pay an additional sign up fee, you will only have to register using a promo code that you will receive and further, will have some steps to take to ensure works are transferred and everything is setup for worldwide collection.

What about the existing portal?
In regard to the current publishing admin portal that you use, we will begin to make changes to ensure that no new works are accepted through there. Works submitted that have yet to be approved will be communicated to you for re-registration in the new method and we appreciate + apologize for any delay and/or confusion while we have been working to make this transition.

What about royalties?
Royalties for Q4'2018 will be reported through the portal and if any additional royalties for Q1'2019 received, we will additionally report through there. Future royalties will be paid from your integrated account with Songtrust.
