What Is SoundCloud Allowlisting?

Let's keep it simple. We deliver a feed of music to SoundCloud. When you select “SoundCloud ID” on the SymphonicMS and the profile is not allowlisted, any track uploaded through that feed will potentially create an issue with the individual not being able to upload that and/or any other works.

By allowlisting an account, you can ensure that those people who are authorized to upload your content – for example, your affiliated companies or PR agencies – can do so without that content repeatedly being blocked. In short, allowlisting your account will let you upload the music & video content that you own, and others will not be able to upload your content unless you allowlist their accounts as well.

Note: If you have your music uploaded by another distributor as well, they would need to additionally allowlist your profile too.
